Standard Format Standard format Speed Dating involves
splitting delegates into male/female. Ladies sit singularly at tables around the
perimeter of the room. Each table is numbered. Gentlemen are given a starting
number, and during the first 4 minute session must visit that table. They must
chat to their partner about any subject for 4 minutes. After the time is up our
professional and enthusiastic host rings a bell to signify that it is time to
move on to the next table. This event can last throughout an entire evening, and
is usually split to fit around dinner. Price includes a professional compere,
PA for up to 100 people and all necessary preparation.

Batman & Robin We pre-prepare laminated ‘name’ cards for each
of your delegates. Each of these will contain the name of a famous man / woman,
and one printed card will be handed to every individual (irrespective of sex ie.
Men could be given a Woman’s name card). Cards are not to be worn or displayed
in any way. The object of the activity is to search and find your partner. ‘Couples’
will not necessarily be male/female (eg Posh & Becks). Couples could be male/male (eg
Batman & Robin) or female/female (Thelma & Louise). However, the game
will be operated under strict rules which will mean that people need to interact
closely to discover their partner. These rules will be explained by our professional
compere using our own PA and projection system. This
game is generally used as an ice breaker only, and should last for up to 1 hour
dependent upon the number of guests. We suggest that 5 pairs of prizes should
be available for the first 5 couples to make themselves known to the compere.

| Traffic Lights Every delegate is given a sheet of 20 coloured stickers –
Red, amber and green. The object within the given time is to talk to as many new
people as possible. Once you have had a conversation with someone, they will give
you a coloured sticker which signifies how ‘fun’ or ‘interesting’
they think you are. This is clearly done tongue-in-cheek. A green sticker signifies
‘a very interesting and fun person that you would like to get to know better’,
an amber sticker means ‘you find them fairly interesting’ and a red
sticker means ‘you think they are rather dull (!)’. At the close of
the activity prizes are given for the most ‘attractive’ male and female…
and the most ‘unattractive’ (in a comedy fashion). This is a great
fun and easy Speed Dating format that can run for as long as required and for
any number of delegates. The package includes a professional and lively compere,
PA for up to 100 delegates and all necessary preparation. | |
