Frank Dick
Frank is a former Director of Coaching for the British Athletic
Federation and an expert in 'Performance Management'. He
has been coaching athletes and sports professionals since
1970 and his prodigies have included Daley Thompson, Boris
Becker, Gerhard Berger and Katarina Witt. He is currently
involved with Denise Lewis, Ronnie Irani, Justin Rose, Marat
Safin, Ipswich Town Football Club and Jean Todt (Ferrari
Formula One Manager). An international athlete himself,
Frank has coached athletes to Olympic, World and European
honours. Currently the President of the European Athletics
Coaches Association.
In 2003 Frank has been recognised for two awards. In recognition
of the work he has done to create a coaching culture within
the company, Abbey National and Frank jointly received a
major training award from the prestigious American Society
of Training and Development. Renowned as one of the best
motivational speakers today, Frank Dick's presentations
are highly amusing and anecdotal, challenging and inspirational,
making uncomfortable listening for anyone prepared to accept
second best.
