IAN IRVING
COMEDIAN & AFTER DINNER SPEAKER
Ian started his show business career in 1986 winning many talent
shows at various venues around the country. His first television
appearance was on Surprise, Surprise in 1987 and then New
Faces also in 1987.
He has appeared in some of the most prestigious venues around
the country supporting many leading performers such as Lionel
Richie, Jim Davidson, Bonnie Tyler and The Four Tops to
name but a few. When Ian performed at the London Palladium
he supported Dame Vera Lynn, Mike Yarwood, David Copperfield
plus a host of other top showbiz stars which ultimately
culminated with an appearance at Her Majesty's Theatre in
London.
In addition to theatre and television appearances Ian regularly
entertains the Armed Forces around the world, in addition
to this he also performs internationally for companies in
Dubai, Barbados, South Africa, Cyprus, Portugal, Germany,
Spain and The USA.

Ian's extensive cabaret performances have incorporated many
summer seasons on the holiday circuit for companies such
as Butlins, Pontins, Warners and Havens amongst others.
He has also performed on several cruises run by the major
tour companies. As a regular on the after dinner circuit
he has worked around the world with luminaries from various
sports such as Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Henry Cooper, Lennox
Lewis, Frank Bruno, Phil Tuffnell, Barry McGuigan and Bill
Beaumont.
Ian has experience on both sides of the camera working as a
warm up artist for Blankety Blank, Fast Friends, Bread,
In Sickness and In Health, Pebble Mill and Kilroy which
led in turn to a walk on part in the TV series, The Chief.
Ian also appeared on Celebrity Squares with Bob Monkhouse
which led to his own half hour TV show, Stand and Deliver.
