The art of conjuring is one of the oldest theatrical skills around
and the practice of magic, dating back to well before the Egyptians. It evolved

power over people. Our fun based team building workshops

of selected tricks. You will learn the
psychology, techniques and methods used in creating the extraordinary visual effects
used by professionals. Delegates will gain first-hand experience in planning,
analysing and adopting professional magic effects... Discover how easy it is to
stimulate, motivate and energize your audience's reaction. |

Trick One “Professor's Nightmare”
Three
lengths of rope are shown and passed around for inspection. One is a short piece
of no more than 6 inches. The second is around 18 inches and the longest piece
is about 30 inches. The performer collects the ropes and holds them up for everyone
to see. Slowly and clearly, the lengths are folded in half with all six ends poking
out of the top of one of his hands. Three of the ends are taken by his other hand
and pulled away to show that all three pieces of rope are now exactly the same
length and are shown as such, one at a time. A magical pass is made and the three
lengths of rope are inexplicably restored to their original and different lengths.
All can be examined. |

Trick Two “Vanishing Handkerchief”
A
brightly coloured square of silk material is shown to the onlookers. All is as
it seems. The performer makes a fist with his empty hand and the handkerchief
is stuffed into it. After a few moments the fist is slowly opened and the handkerchief
has disappeared. The magician can then make it reappear from wherever he wants.
This is a stunningly visual trick and it can be mastered by anybody with 20-30
minutes training and practice. |
