This month we’ve sprung into spring! We are now very proud to announce that we are one of the Hurlingham Club’s recommended event suppliers!
We kicked off our new partnership by exhibiting at their wedding showcase event, where we provided a few of our services for future brides and grooms, along with the fabulous ‘Nue Vintage’ singer Lewis Dixon, and a mix and mingle magician - ideal for entertaining your guests during your drinks reception. We’re thoroughly excited to be working with this hidden gem in London, which is situated in 42 acres of magnificent grounds!
Later in the month our passionate solo soul singer, Fil Straughan serenaded wedding guests at The Grove Hotel to ‘My Girl’, as the beautiful bride walked down the aisle. His Soul Experience shows are energetic and filled with emotion, a very popular choice for weddings and of course parties! See our Twitter page here for an image of the beautiful ceremony set up.
Wentworth Golf Club’s annual Easter Sunday Luncheon was ever popular again as guests were treated to a delicious chocolate fountain, magician and a children’s entertainer. This kept the little ones (and big ones!) entertained during this relaxed and sumptuous exclusive member-only event. The runnymede-on-thames also hosted a resident event over the Eater Weekend where guests enjoyed an Easter themed craft session with chicks and bunnies a plenty in their Left Bank Restaurant, overlooking the River Thames where the views are simply stunning.
The decadent 1930’s Eltham Palace, hosted a high profile wedding this month; evening guests were treated to the popular ‘Fully FunKtional’ 8 piece party band. If you want to see horn players starting a conga-line, a guitarist encouraging guests to assist in a wild solo, singers serenading people even outside the room, then this is the band you need to book!
As the weather is steadily improving, our outdoor team building activities are getting booked up nicely; a corporate client held our new Crystal Maze activity for 90 guests at another local hotel to us, Old Thorns Manor. The challenges are varied to suit all skills and are specially designed to encourage attributes including communication, logic, co-ordination, problem solving and time management. For each challenge, teams are awarded crystals depending on their performance and go on to compete in the awesome Crystal Dome finale… Richard O’Brien eat your heart out!!
This month we’ve gone back to the era of crimped hair and bum-bags hosting an 80’s themed discotheque along with our glitter ball table centrepieces, which both provided the perfect setting for this retro gala dinner celebration. As a stark contrast, we have also provided ‘Waiters Encore’ performing a surprise act after main course was served at the prestigious Dorchester Ballroom for a 70th birthday celebration. Our top West End and Opera soloists appeared as various members of staff and guests, amazing and thrilling the audience as, following a slick introduction with fun dialogue, they burst into spectacular song! The Dorchester is ‘the place’ to meet and celebrate. Any event held here assumes a special distinction and offers some of the most beautiful banqueting and meeting rooms in central London.
Birthday-wise in the office this month, we have had our our Senior Production Manager Craig’s as well as one of our Directors, Ian’s - meaning a double dose of doughnuts for us in the office! Yummy...
