Whilst we are thankfully in a much better position than last year, with social distancing rules relaxed (yay!) and the return of live events allowing us to resume in-person events, our virtual and hybrid activities are still very much in demand for Christmas celebrations this year. We understand that there’s a lot to take into consideration when planning this year’s festivities with your team, so whatever your situation, do not fear… Firebird are here!!
To help you feel inspired, a few members of the sales team have hand-picked their favourite Virtual, Live and Hybrid options, that would inject some festive fun and frivolity to your Christmas celebrations this year!
Andy’s Virtual Choice - Mystery Mix Tape
Do you need something fresh and fun for your virtual Christmas celebrations?! Then let us introduce you to our Mystery Mixtape! Part musical performance, part game show, this is a live virtual music quiz like no other! Mystery Mixtape is a unique online entertainment experience, hosted by our charismatic musician. With rounds such as "Lyric Splice", "Big Theme Mashups" and "Kazoozies at The Movies", your guests will be taken on a highly engaging and interactive musical journey with final scores provided at the end. This really is a great virtual option - the constant interaction and bonus rounds ensure a super fun experience!!
AJ’s Live Choice – A Party With ‘Extra’s’
A nice dinner, a festive cocktail (or two!) and a good boogie with colleagues is always well received, but if you’re planning on holding a live Christmas party this year and want to make it a night to remember, then adding on some party ‘extra’s’ can make all the difference! Think dramatic room lighting, mix and mingle entertainers, a live band or one of our infamous discotheques, after dinner games such as casino tables, a cabaret act, an LED dance floor, wow factor table centres and more... There are so many fantastic options available that really can transform your traditional Christmas party into a celebration with ‘wow factor’, that will be talked about for years to come.

Phoebe’s Hybrid Choice – Gingerbread House Making
Whether in the office, onsite at a venue, or connecting from home, teams join our flamboyant host in-person, or via video link, to get festive, creative and even a little technical, by assembling and decorating gingerbread structures! If connecting from home we send out kits containing everything needed for the activity in advance, including pre-baked “flat packed” slabs, cake boards and royal icing to assemble their structure. Guests then make their gingerbread into an edible winter wonderland. As an optional competitive element, we can also judge a winner. This activity is great fun, very sociable and it’s such a bonus that you get to eat your creations afterwards!!
