March 2014

31 March 2014

One of our Directors, Paul had his 40th birthday party this month at the salubrious Wentworth Club, who provided a tasty array of bowl food and scrummy petit fours to keep the party goers fueled and dancing late into the night.

In attendance to this fun-packed evening, along with most of the Firebird gang, was Jamie ‘Afro’ Archer (officially polled as one of the X Factors most impressive auditions ever) who performed his legendary ‘Sex on Fire’. Jamie too was once a member of Firebird back in 2005, when he was a member of our production crew, but alas, his singing talents have emerged stronger than his love of cabling!

With lots of spring weddings taking place this month, we’re keeping our crew very busy at the weekends – the nice weather is always a bonus, especially for all our lovely brides and grooms!

The production team have been busy this month too, providing our full production services for a client’s annual awards dinner and have even created a bespoke Comic Creations team building event. Now it’s a bit warmer outside, country pursuits are becoming ever popular again. A corporate group have enjoyed some of our most popular country pursuit activities this month, including; Duck Herding, Powerturns and Archery at the beautiful Hampshire based Elvetham Hotel – the hotel provides a perfect setting for outdoor events.

With team building season just around the corner, our team building department have been busy bees designing and testing 10 new fun packed team building activities for the summer including; Design Team, Crystal Maze, Sun and Games, Sailing on The Solent, Be A Pilot For Day, Pimp My Desk, Perfect Party, Hot Rods, Eco House and Game Show Mania. Check out our new team building video for a few ideas!

Finally, we are delighted to have now appointed Michael Wilkinson, who will be responsible for our website and social media going forward. Michael is currently completely redesigning our website. The new site will include over 1,000 pages and will be much easier for phone and tablet users – watch this space…
