Wow! What a busy month for the Firebird team… We’ve produced 154 fantastic events this month! There is so much we could blog about, so here are some of the many highlights…

Firstly, the Firebird team were delighted to receive a signed Watford FC shirt in recognition of our 10th year producing their end of season awards, we were very touched by this lovely gesture and can’t wait to have it hanging on our wall for everyone to see.

We’re also eager to share some fantastic news that we are now the preferred supplier for Café Royal London and Old Thorns Manor in Hampshire, we are very excited to be working with them both.

The team have been all over the country and even over to Europe producing events this month. We had a chain of events taking place between John O’Groats and Lands End for a Motorbike race, our Senior Production Manager Craig spent 3 days at La Manga in Spain for an International conference and Munich was another location for an International conference where we shipped over 25 of our much loved feather plume table centres, which looked stunning! The truck and crew were off to Paris on the second bank holiday of the month for the start of their European Conference Tour. After Paris they made their way to Stockholm for the second stop off. We’re sure they’ll have some exciting stories to tell us about from their adventures around Europe!

Last month we released our brand new team building brochure, which has been a huge success. We’ve had 21 team building activities take place in May and have been inundated with enquiries for many more! Our Haka masters performed a powerful energising conference opener at the very fitting Twickenham Stadium for 1,000 delegates, which went down an absolute storm! Within moments of the demonstration finishing, the masters got delegates up on their feet to learn the Haka as one unified team – a real spectacle and great fun!

This month we have provided a couple of fantastic guest speakers for large corporate events. The first was Bob Champion, the former English jockey who won the 1981 Grand National on Aldaniti who provided a motivational speech at Epsom Downs Racecourse, and the second was the hugely funny UK actor and writer Hugh Dennis who was the guest speaker at a corporate event in Birmingham Town Hall. Guest speakers can really help to provide a positive and lasting impact, our wealth of experience in this area helps us to find the perfect motivational or after-dinner speaker for your event. If you need any assistance then you know who to call!

Parties and weddings have been as busy as ever this month too. One of our most popular bands, Mixed Feelings had all of the guests up on their feet dancing the night away at The Grove Hotel for a corporate party. Mixed Feelings are always in high demand as they’re perfect for weddings, birthdays, and corporate parties. They perform with infectious enthusiasm and deliver all the popular party tunes you need to entertain every generation!

Magicians are a tried and tested way to entertain guests and this month we provided the very talented Jamie Raven, one of the UK’s most requested magicians, in Weybridge. He stunned and amazed corporate guests, leaving them asking “How did he do it?!”

Finally, we wanted to share a romantic gesture from one of our grooms this month... He arranged a surprise string quartet for his bride to walk down the aisle to at Farnham Castle – what a lucky lady!
