If you’re struggling for ideas for an incentive activity, look no further than our wet ‘n’ wild Rib Racing Treasure Hunt, the perfect activity for thrill and adventure seekers alike!
Incentive trips for employees can be used as a great motivator for increased sales, recognition for good performance and to boost team morale. These types of activities are as popular as ever, with companies focusing on employee loyalty and retention.
With a brief of “high adrenaline and fun” we took a group of 50 employees from a central London Consultancy firm down to the South Coast to experience our Rib Racing Treasure Hunt on the Solent.
This activity sees guests experience a full or half day out on the Solent, reaching speeds just shy of 50mph – which feels three times faster on water than it does on land!
Here’s how the day ran…
11.00am: Guests met for tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches at The Haven Bar and Restaurant in Lymington Yacht Haven.
11.30am: Safety briefing and walk down to the boats. Once kitted up, guests embarked and began the Rib Racing adventure with the first stop being The Needles on The Isle of White.
2.00pm: A stop in Cowes on The Isle of White for our GPS Treasure Hunt, followed by a BBQ lunch! The GPS Treasure Hunt included photo and video rounds, as well as general knowledge quiz questions from every type of genre!
3.30pm: Returned to the Ribs for an afternoon on the water - riding the waves, donuts and getting wet!
5.30pm: Arrived back at Lymington Yacht Haven for a Pimm’s reception and prize giving!
6.00pm: Headed home!
All of the guests had a great day out and the good old British summer sunshine certainly helped!
The feedback from our client after the event couldn’t have been any better!
“Thank you for a great day on Friday, please also pass on my thanks to John and all the skippers – they were great. Honestly, everyone loved it so thanks for everything.” - Event Organiser
