September has brought Firebird a lot of fun filled team building events and Corporate fun days!
On 5th September we helped organise a fun day at St James’ Square in London which included activities such as an eight lane Scalextric two Wii stations, balloon modelling, cupcake decorating and a mug painting workshop!
The same weekend we also organised a fun day for a large car manufacturer where we provided a 9-hole crazy golf course, penalty shootout football, an inflatable surf board simulator, tug of war, zorbing and various funfair stalls. It was a great day for all involved and the crazy golf and zorbing were definitely the highlights of the day!
A few days later we were at Epsom Racecourse for a team building event for one of the UK's leading appliance care specialists. They had five different sessions, each with a closing message to discuss what they have learned. The sessions they took part in were F1 Bridge Build, Drumming Workshop, Cryptic Challenge, Art Masterpiece and Filming Experience where they had to create a 60 second advert for their company. It was certainly an action packed day for the delegates and it was great to see them all enjoying themselves and achieving the goals set out for them.
In the middle of the month we organised a Corporate party at Ascot Racecourse which involved activities such as a horse racing simulator, a rally driving simulator, giant kerplunk, giant twister, and a virtual graffiti wall. It was certainly different to the other events we have hosted this month and the guests loved the simulators! Graffiti was a continuing theme for us as we also organised a team building event for a global make-up brand where they were had a graffiti session led by a professional graffiti artist.
Another team building event we organised was held at the famous Emirates Stadium. The guests took part in a Team Tournament activity which saw them have an opening ceremony to start everything off! They then took part in activities such as Tiddlywinks Olympics, Mini-Bike Sprint and some physical challenges.
One of the last team building days we did in September was for a leading automotive brand. They took part in three completely different activities. Duck herding was the first event, where they had to try and control the dogs who then herded the ducks; it was a comical event that provided a lot of laughs! The next event they did was Sculpture Club, where they had to create sculptures using wire, plaster of paris, paper maché, fabrics and plastics. The final event of the day was Block Buster, where the teams made films using Lego! They all presented their films at the end and the best video won a prize.
Next month is Firebird’s 15th birthday and we are very excited!!! So keep an eye out for our blog post in October for an exclusive peek into our birthday celebrations…
