We were absolutely thrilled to win an award for the third year in a row at the 2020 M&IT Awards last week. As ever, we faced challenging competition and we were very proud to be recognised amongst the best in our industry and be presented with the Silver Award for 'BEST EVENT PROVIDER’.
The Awards were held on the 28th February at Battersea Evolution, London and as nominated finalists, a group of the Firebird team attended in person. It was great to step out of our usual roles ‘behind the scenes’ and enjoy the experience as guests.
Donning our best party frocks and tux’s (Firebird Ted included!) we were greeted by a brass band, before making our way through to the Champagne reception.
Once seated for dinner we enjoyed a fab ‘We will Rock You’ performance and tucked into a delicious 3 course dinner. Then it was over to the rather handsome Gethin Jones to present the all-important awards…
We were of course very proud to have been shortlisted as finalists in the 'BEST EVENT PROVIDER’ category, but had our fingers and toes crossed that we would win an award! When we were announced as Silver winners there was rather a lot of cheering, with our lovely Managing Director Paul Griffiths proudly accepting the award on behalf of Firebird.

Rewarding excellence of service and product, the winners of the M&IT Awards are determined by the highest number of votes cast from clients, so we really do owe a huge thank you to all our clients who took the time to vote for us – we really do appreciate it!
It was great to catch up with other industry partners with whom we work with regularly, including some of our lovely agency clients and venues who recommend our services – if you’re reading this, it was great to see you all!
We had a great evening celebrating the best in our industry – a big congratulations to all the worthy winners!
