A consummate professional with over 25 years’ experience, Paul’s Zerdin steals the show with his hilarious sidekicks – Sam, Baby and pensioner Albert.
Paul’s comic timing, incredible talent and use of animatronics makes his show a must-see; and an incredible addition to any event. Now a household name on both sides of the Atlantic, Paul first made his TV debut as a magician on BBC’s Tricky Business. However, Paul quickly realised that ventriloquism, not magic, was his passion, and it was this talent that led him to present Rise and Shine – a Disney produced show – for 2 years.
By 1996, Paul’s popularity soared when he appeared on the Big, Big Talent Show, hosted by Jonathan Ross- winning by a staggering 100,000 votes. This resulted in his first (of three) very successful Royal Variety show performances.
This popularity and mass appeal meant that Paul soon became a regular on a number of shows, performing alongside big names such as Bruce Forsyth, Freddie Starr and Dame Shirley Bassey DBE.
Winning America’s Got Talent in 2015 was a dream come true and rewarded him with a year’s headline residency show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Not forgetting his British fans, Paul came back to the UK in 2017 to perform his tour All Mouth. A talented voice-over artist and puppeteer, he has also worked on many commercials, Jim Henson’s Muppet Treasure Island and was also the adviser on ventriloquism to Anthony Sher in the BBC film Gengis Cohn.
