Be part of a unique and awe-inspiring experience with the HAKA. This traditional and ancient Maori Tribal dance can be performed as a powerful conference energiser.

Upon entering a room, you won’t suspect a thing, until the doors close and you hear the roar of ‘the call’… The loud and exciting tribal sound of the HAKA leader. Our HAKA performers will then perform the overwhelmingly powerful HAKA to much acclaim. Within moments of our team finishing their demonstration, we will have you up and ready to learn and perform the HAKA, as one unified team. Building towards a powerful performance, you’ll go head-to-head in a bit of healthy tribal competition. When the battle for supremacy is won, it’s time to come together as one tribe for the final HAKA.

The HAKA dance uses hands, feet, legs, body, voice, tongue and eyes to convey the challenge, welcome, exultation, defiance or contempt of the words. It is disciplined, yet emotional. More than any other aspect of Maori culture, this complex dance is an expression of the passion, vigour and identity of the team.
