What does your role entail?
My role as Event Manager is quite varied, which I love! My main responsibilities are managing enquiries, sending proposals to clients, pre-event & on-site event management.

How long have you been in the industry?
20 years!! Saying it out loud, it makes me feel old, however the time has just flown by. I’ve been very fortunate to have worked at some amazing hotels and venues, and worked on some fantastic events.

What’s your favourite tipple?
Oooh it varies – in winter, it is has to be a glass of red wine, or two… However in summer, a refreshing ice cold beer, or cider hits the spot!

Why do you love working in events?
l love the variation it gives me, from admin days in the office, to being out and about on site visits and events. From the pressure when managing the event on the day, through to seeing a clients vision come together in front of you. You just can’t beat it!

What do you do in your spare time?
I really enjoy a spot of gardening and socialising with friends!

What’s your favourite time of year?
Summer! I love the long days, I feel more energized and I love a BBQ…
