What does your role entail?
As production crew I am very ‘hands on’ at events and also help prepping kit in the warehouse. Onsite I am often behind the control desk, taking care of sound, lighting and AV.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I’ve been on the ice for most of my life, both playing ice hockey and figure skating (I started around age 5). I regularly watch hockey, supporting the Basingstoke Bison and the Anaheim Ducks.

How did your career start in events?
My career started in events while I was studying music at Uni. For assessments we would need to organise performances and recordings, so I helped a few course mates and naturally fell into events outside of class work.

What’s your favourite time of year?
Autumn is my favourite time of year, although it rains, I’m a sucker for some crunchy fallen leaves and that crisp chill in the air.

Why do you love working in events?
I love working in events because there is always something new going on. Anything can happen and the reward of pulling through last minute changes trumps it all.

Are you a morning person, or a night owl?
I’m definitely a morning person – more so after a coffee though!
