Renowned for his laid-back saxophone covers

Born in Nicosia, Cyprus, Kyri discovered his love for the saxophone at an early age. After earning a place at the Nicosia Music High School, where he studied saxophone with Dr. Yiannis Miralis, he continued further studies with Kyle Horch at Royal Holloway, University of London. Graduating from Royal Holloway with a Bachelor’s of Music (Honours) degree, Kyri continued as a postgraduate student combining performance and ethnomusicology at RHUL, where he was awarded a Master’s degree of Music in Saxophone Performance.

Over the last few years Kyri has performed under the stage name KYRIsax, a brand which started to grow a following by actively uploading saxophone covers on social media, which reached well over one million views across the globe in less than three months. This talented saxophonist is renowned for his laid-back saxophone covers of commercial pop songs and his powerful live club shows with international DJs, and is available for bookings across Europe and beyond.
