Team building needs to actually bring people together, make them more likely to collaborate, and improve your company’s culture.
We Produced Over 1,200 Events Last Year
With Firebird Events, you’ll be in safe hands: we’re true experts in these types of activities. On our website, we make it easy to browse according to destination, number of attendees, duration, and whether it’s indoors or outdoors.
We also list the main benefits of each event! These can include creating a positive team spirit, time management, communication, co-ordination, healthy competition, logical problem solving, tactical thinking, creativity, and much more.
Why Book an Event Now?
Apart from Valentine’s Day, it can feel like there’s little to look forward to in February. Put one of our team building activities on the calendar and it will instantly brighten people’s mood. Knowing they’ll have the chance to make a mini movie using animation, create an artistic masterpiece, or take part in the Crystal Maze is almost guaranteed to lift their spirits!
Many of our activities take place indoors, so you won’t have to worry about the unpredictable British weather. Here are just a few of the events we have available:
- Game shows where you can be a quiz contestant. A lively and effective team-building activity, it combines a sense of competition, collaboration, and entertainment. Such quizzes also help build camaraderie and boost morale in an engaging and inclusive way.
One of the key benefits of this activity is its ability to encourage teamwork. Many of our game show formats, such as trivia challenges or problem-solving games, require your staff to work in teams, pooling their knowledge and skills to answer questions or tackle challenges. This collaborative aspect helps to strengthen communication, build trust, and highlight the unique strengths of individual team members.
- Ice carving workshops. One of the key reasons ice carving works so well for team building is its emphasis on teamwork. Carving a block of ice into a specific design or sculpture requires multiple people working together. Your staff must communicate effectively, divide tasks, and coordinate their efforts to achieve the desired result. This promotes innovative thinking and problem-solving as they adapt to the unique challenges of working with ice, such as its fragility and the need for precision.
- Chocolate factory challenge. Lasting from 1-3 hours, this event is ideal for 1-500 guests and involves inventing a brand new box of chocolates!
- Soap making. A unique and engaging team-building activity, soap making offers numerous benefits that go beyond the traditional exercises like trust falls or brainstorming sessions. Combining creativity, collaboration, and a touch of fun, it’s a fantastic way to bring a team closer together.
- Scene on screen. This is your chance to recreate golden moments from the big screen. A collaborative and competitive event, it’s perfect for winter time.
These are just a few of the many team building events we have available. For a taste of our outdoor activities, take a look further in this blog.
Inspiring Events
Our activities are packed with fun, so much so they will be highly anticipated. In fact, they’re likely to be one of the highlights of the year. Established in 2000, we’ve been in this industry for 25 years now and have the same passion we’ve always had.
Planning Ahead for Summer?
If you’re planning ahead for spring and summer, we also have plenty of outdoor activities. Here are just a few that might tickle your fancy:
- Back to School Sports Day. We cover a wide range of subjects during this team building event, not just sports! From English and maths to textiles and testing cycling proficiency, there’s something for everyone!
- Bear Grylls Survival. This packs in plenty of country pursuits, tactical and cryptic challenges. Taking place in various international destinations, it involves everything from navigation challenges to spear throwing and ‘stranded’ survival scenarios.
- Combat Archery. Fast-paced and fun, combat archery is a brand new game that brings together the skill of archery with the pace and excitement of dodgeball and paintball.
Using specially made bows and foam tip arrows, two teams (of up to ten) score points by eliminating opponents and targets.
Other outdoor events include everything from Robo Wars (inspired by Robot Wars), through to Medieval Mayhem where guests get to try all kinds of historic activities.
If you want more details on any of these events, our experts are always happy to help.
