A crafter's dream...

Guests make and decorate a set of crackers fit for their Christmas table.

Our cracker making activity is a crafter’s dream! Guests visit the “craft shop” where they can choose cracker templates, snaps, hats, toys, jokes, a selection of Christmas papers, sequins, jewels, metallic pens and ribbons.

Along with our expert host, guests then make up their crackers, add their hats, snaps and toys and share their best (or worst!) jokes to put inside. Although toys are available, guests are welcome to leave one end of their crackers open and add their own cracker gifts later, for an even more personal touch.

Guests then decorate their crackers with festive decorations and ribbons and can personalise them by adding names, initials or messages using metallic pens.

This can be done as a masterclass, with all guests taking part together, or in drop in format where guests join as and when they like.

At the end of the activity guests will take home a set of 6 beautifully handmade Christmas crackers that are totally unique to them. They’ll also have the know-how to make crackers for Christmasses to come (they’ll never buy them again!)
